Nestled in the peaceful Kamnik-Savinja Alps, the valley of Logarska Dolina is the perfect place to treat yourself with a relaxed Yoga and meditation time out. Only accessible through a mountain pass, the beautiful alpine valley rewards you with all the peace and quiet you’ve been longing for. A bright Yoga space next to the waterfall, meditation platforms with views of the Alps, an eco wellness spa with Ayurvedic treatments and sustainable local food add on to that and provide you with all you need to unwind to your heart’s content here at Hotel Plesnik. If you’re keen to explore the outdoor world, the adjacent national park offers a unique mix of hiking and cycling trails, mountain huts and stunning panoramic routes. 

 

WHAT TO EXPECT

Start gently into the day with a guided morning meditation. In the subsequent Yoga session learn to flow with your breath and explore new ways of physical movement, taking the opportunity to really reconnect with your body. Take a good dose of me time during the day, either being active in nature or relaxing at the spa with stunning views of the Slovenian Alps. If you feel like it, join optional hiking trips in the afternoon. In the evening, a Slow Yoga session gives you the chance to experience deeper levels of relaxation, both for your body and your mind.

 

Whether you are a beginner who would like to get deeper into Yoga or an advanced Yogi wanting to develop a more personal practice, all levels are welcome. If you feel like gently flowing into spring or ending the year mindfully, join our Gentle Spring or Soft Autumn Retreat. If you’re longing for a more dynamic practice and active movement, join one of our Power Summer Retreats.

For you to have enough time for arrival and departure, the retreat starts with a joint dinner on the first day and finishes after brunch on the last day.

ABOUT OUR GERMAN GUEST TEACHER ANJA

Anja came to appreciate Yoga with all its physical and mental benefits during her years living in Asia. With a corporate career in international sales management, Yoga quickly became the appropriate compensation for extensive travel schedules and long working hours. After a decade of practicing Yoga while in the corporate world, Anja decided to switch sides and to become a certified Yoga and meditation teacher.

 

Now based in Munich, Anja works with companies and private clients to integrate Yoga, meditation, and breathwork into their corporate health programs and everyday life. Anja’s teaching style is thoughtful, creative and dynamic. It combines elements of Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Power Yoga, showing you ways to find moments of stillness through breath and movement.

 

With her infectious energy, a great sense of humour and wholehearted empathy, Anja supports you to explore Yoga and meditation on your own terms.
