You are wholeheartedly invited to a relaxation-oriented long weekend--a three-day yoga retreat--including yoga classes, meditation, wellness, healthy, delicious meals, and hiking in beautiful landscapes of Logarska Valley surrounded by mountains and forests. Hotel Plesnik where you will be staying has a great position at the centre of this beautiful valley and offers an amazing view of the nearby mountains and the stunning Palenk waterfall. All rooms are equipped with wooden furniture and designed in a mixture of modern and old style. The wellness center is astonishing, with spacious saunas, whirlpool and outdoor eco natural pool where you can indulge in relaxing and spending as much time as you like. You will also have plenty of time for yourself, either to just stay quiet and rest, or to focus and explore your creativity from this quiet state of mind.
We will start our day either with meditation, pranayama exercise or silent walks in the forest. Each morning will bring something different. After these activities, you can help yourself to a cup of tea or coffee—after which we will continue with a 75-minute yoga class of stretching and asanas to enjoy the day with some action and good exercise. We sure need a wholesome breakfast after such an active morning, don't we? Organic breakfast is made with local products from nearby farms, and you also have vegetarian, gluten-free and vegan options.
During the day you can choose between various activities. Hiking trips, all well organised, include being accompanied by Tomo, a local & international guide, and, also, a yoga teacher. You are also free to explore the area on your own if you wish. You can choose all ranges of walks, from though mountaineering to gentle walks in the forest. One day during the retreat, we will organise a cycling tour in the valley.
If you are tired and you want to just spend some quiet time by yourself, you can choose to relax in the Eco Wellness Spa with panoramic views of Slovenian Alps, or experience some Ayurvedic Treatments and massages.
Before dinner, you can join us for another yoga session, more restorative, with the support of yoga bolsters, during a guided gentle yoga sequence.
After dinner, you are free to return to the wellness centre or spend time chatting by the outdoors campfire, weather permitting. Going to bed early is also a good idea after such a full day. Doubtless, this long yoga weekend retreat will leave you feeling rejuvenated, full of energy and coming back to yourself.
Even if you are not practicing yoga, we will help you learn something new, a very useful skill in your life, of how to help yourself and relax on your own.
All yoga levels, including beginners and more skillful or advanced practitioners, are welcome. Working as a team, the two yoga teachers, Tomo and Tjaša, will accommodate everyone and find a pace and space for all.
