The torchlit night walk reveals Logar Valley in its most mysterious form. As daylight fades into evening silence, you set off with a local storyteller towards a forest hut. The flames of the torches illuminate the path while stories of the mountains, the people and the centuries-old traditions of the Solčava region unfold in the twilight.
The walk follows an easy forest trail to a traditional lumberjack’s cabin, where stories of Solčava, its people and its heritage come alive by the crackling fire. Past and present intertwine in narratives that give the valley its depth. This experience combines gentle movement, shared warmth, and an authentic connection with nature.

GOAT MILKING AT MATK FARM
An authentic early-morning experience at one of the most beautiful mountain farms in Logar Valley. At Matk Farm, you will feel the calm rhythm of Alpine rural life, where nature sets the pace of the day. Step into a world where tradition lives on through daily work and respect for animals.
The experience begins at 7:30 am, when the valley is still wrapped in morning freshness. You will try your hand at milking goats, learn about life on a mountain farm and taste fresh homemade goat dairy products. A rare opportunity for direct contact with local tradition. Suitable for families.

A wildlife photography experience is an intimate encounter with Alpine wilderness. Accompanied by an experienced guide, you will observe chamois in their natural habitat and learn about life high above the valley.
In the early morning or evening hours, when nature is most alive, you walk to a selected panoramic viewpoint. From there, you observe wildlife and learn about their behaviour, seasonal habits, and habitat. Patience is essential – the reward is an unforgettable connection with the wild.

Logar Valley is considered one of the most beautiful Alpine valleys in Slovenia – a place where majestic peaks, waterfalls and meadows merge into harmonious scenery.
