A bright yoga space next to the waterfall, meditation platforms with views of the Alps, an eco wellness spa with Ayurvedic treatments and sustainable local food provide you with everything you need to unwind to your heart’s content here at Hotel Plesnik.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Start gently into the day with a guided morning meditation. In the subsequent yoga session learn to flow with your breath and explore new ways of physical movement, taking the opportunity to reconnect with your body.
During the day you can enjoy time for yourself, either being active in nature or relaxing in the spa with beautiful views of the Slovenian Alps. If you wish to explore the outdoors, the nearby national park offers a diverse mix of hiking and cycling trails, mountain huts and panoramic routes.
In the evening, a Slow Yoga session allows you to experience deeper levels of relaxation for both body and mind.
The retreat is suitable for all levels, whether you are a beginner who would like to deepen your understanding of yoga or an experienced yogi wishing to develop a more personal practice. If you are looking for a more dynamic and active retreat, you can also join Anja’s Power Summer Retreat.
SAMPLE SCHEDULE (DAY 2–4):
- 07:30 am: Morning meditation
- 08:00 am: Gentle Yoga
- 10:00 am: Brunch
- 11:30 am: Time for yourself
- 03:00 pm: Optional afternoon activities (hiking / Ayurveda / etc.)
- 05:30 pm: Slow Yoga (Yin Yoga / Yoga Nidra)
- 07:00 pm: Dinner
For you to have enough time for arrival and departure, the retreat starts with a joint dinner on the first day and finishes after brunch on the last day.

About our German guest teacher Anja:
Anja came to appreciate yoga with all its physical and mental benefits during her years living in Asia. While building a corporate career in international sales management, yoga quickly became a valuable balance to extensive travel schedules and long working hours. After more than a decade of practicing yoga alongside her corporate career, Anja decided to follow her passion and become a certified yoga and meditation teacher.
Now based in Germany, Anja works with companies and private clients to integrate yoga, meditation and breathwork into corporate health programs and everyday routines. Her teaching style is thoughtful, creative and dynamic, combining elements of Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Slow Yoga. Through breath and movement she guides participants towards moments of stillness and deeper awareness.
With her infectious energy and warm sense of humour, Anja creates an inspiring and welcoming space where participants can explore yoga and meditation in their own way.
