Visiting the Kamnik–Savinja Alps is easier, greener, and, for many visitors, completely free this year. During the summer season, two excellent sustainable transport options are available for exploring the region: the Hop On Hop Off service around the Kamnik–Savinja Alps and the Savinjska Bus connection between Celje and the Logar Valley.
Hop On Hop Off Around the Kamnik–Savinja Alps
Starting on 20 June, the popular Hop On Hop Off service will once again connect some of the most beautiful locations in the Kamnik–Savinja Alps, allowing visitors to explore the region without using a private car.

A special feature of this year’s service is that it is fully funded by the participating municipalities, making it free of charge for passengers.
From Celje to the Logar Valley by Bus and Bicycle
Between 24 June and 31 August, the Savinjska Bus will once again operate on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. The service connects ten municipalities across the Savinja region and enables visitors to discover the area’s natural, cultural, and culinary attractions in a more sustainable way.
One of the route’s key advantages is the free transport of up to 16 standard bicycles, making it easy to combine bus travel with cycling adventures throughout the region.
